PIPER CAMS timing pulleys are a must-have addition to your high-performance camshaft, as they allow for exact synchronization. The OEM pulley for your engine is suitable for the OEM camshaft, but high-performance camshafts often require different synchronization, which means that unless you install an adjustable pulley, you may not be getting the full benefit of your camshaft.
